MN EMS Memorial Featured in Voyage Minnesota Magazine

We’re honored to share that the MN State EMS LODD Memorial Foundation was recently featured in Voyage Minnesota Magazine.

The interview highlights the story behind the foundation, the work that has gone into advancing this project, and the purpose that continues to drive it forward.

EMS has always been a core part of the 911 system alongside law enforcement and fire. Yet, unlike our partners, there is currently no permanent memorial at the Minnesota State Capitol recognizing the EMS professionals who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This project exists to change that.

The article reflects on how this effort began, the progress that has been made through the support of volunteers, organizations, and donors across the state, and the work that still lies ahead to make this memorial a reality.

At its core, this is about ensuring that the sacrifices of EMS professionals are recognized with the dignity and permanence they deserve.

We invite you to take a few minutes to read the full interview and learn more about the mission behind the MN EMS Memorial.
