MTH’s Race to 300: Help Us Earn $10,000+ for the Minnesota EMS Memorial
The Minnesota State EMS Line of Duty Death (LODD) Memorial Foundation has been chosen to participate in MTH’s Race to 300 charity event this fall. This program has the potential to provide $10,000 or more in funding for the EMS Memorial project at the State Capitol.
This is a major step forward in our mission to honor fallen EMS providers with a permanent memorial, standing alongside Minnesota’s police and fire memorials.
What Is the Race to 300?
Each year, MTH (Minnesota Truck Headquarters) runs the Race to 300 campaign at its dealerships. For every vehicle purchased during the event, MTH donates $200 to one of the selected charities. The goal is to reach 300 vehicle sales — which means $60,000 in total donations split among the chosen organizations.
In past years, MTH has donated more than $50,000 through this campaign, making a significant difference for local nonprofits.
How You Can Help
There are two big ways you can support the Foundation during the Race to 300:
Spread the word online. Visit and engage with the official MTH Race to 300 Facebook post here: MTH Race to 300 Post. Leave a supportive comment, tag the Minnesota State EMS Line of Duty Death (LODD) Memorial Foundation, and like other supportive comments to raise visibility.
Encourage vehicle buyers. If you, your family, friends, or colleagues are considering purchasing a vehicle during the Race to 300 timeframe (October–November), encourage them to buy from MTH and direct their support toward the Minnesota State EMS Line of Duty Death (LODD) Memorial Foundation. Each purchase sends $200 directly to our cause.
Why It Matters
If selected as a beneficiary of sales, the Foundation could earn $10,000 or more toward the EMS Memorial project. That funding will help bring us closer to completing a permanent tribute to EMS providers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
This memorial will be a place for families, colleagues, and communities to reflect and remember, ensuring EMS providers are honored equally alongside law enforcement and fire service.
